The Build Process
Every Winchester Marine dory follows a clear and straightforward process. From initial enquiry through to handover, each stage is handled directly to ensure clarity, quality and attention to detail.

When you get in touch, Brenten, the builder behind Winchester Marine, explains what is built and what can be achieved within the semi custom dory design.
Layout options, specifications and expectations are discussed before a clear quote is provided. Once confirmed, your build is scheduled and construction begins.

During the design stage, you select your preferred colour scheme and choose between available layout options.
Electronics and motor configuration are organised by the owner within the recommended specifications. This ensures flexibility while maintaining the integrity of the proven hull design.

Construction takes place onsite in Noosaville using a moulded hull and hand built fit out.
Each stage of the build focuses on structural strength, smooth performance and long term durability. -
Once complete, you collect your boat directly from Winchester Marine.
